With the popularity of trees and public awareness of the importance of reforestation on the rise, it is not shocking that new technology in regards to tree plantation would begin to grow. In fact, there are new innovations happening every day around the world to efficiently get more trees into the ground.
Drone planting has been one technology that people can’t stop talking about. Some drone companies boast that they can plant trees 150 times faster than manual plantation! That’s a lot of trees in a short amount of time. But the experts do have some concerns with this method and that if it actually works. It has yet to be proven that the survival rate comes anywhere close to manually planting trees. After all, technique and conditions for tree planting is critical.
